It Has Been Confirm That OAU Teaching Hospital Resident Doctor Died Of Lassa Fever:

Remember a resident doctor at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital who died after vomiting blood on Monday night, which made a lot of nurses, his collegues evacuate the hospital for fear of Lassa fever? Well a test carried out has now showed the doctor actually died of the virus.

It will be recalled that the chairman of a committee set up by the OAUTHC on Lassa fever, Prof. Adedeji Onayade, had said it was too early to conclude the doctor died of Lassa fever, but tests have now proved it. May his soul rest in peace.   Source
