Psquare's Peter Okoye has broken his silence on reports that his fight with Glo may have caused him and his twin brother to lose their ambassadorial contract with the giant telecommunication company.
News broke two days ago that Globacom has refused to renew Psquare’s contract as the company’s ambassador. According to reports, the decision was due to a shameful drama that ensued between Peter Okoye and representatives of GLO during the grand finale of his popular dance TV show “Dance With Peter”.
It was said Peter didn't handle the show well. He brought in Akon, held up recording of the finale for hours, insisted on things that were not part of the contract with Glo as the sole sponsor of the show and overreacted by insulting Glo in the process. All of this is coupled with the ongoing feud between him and his brothers Paul and Jude Okoye.
Peter took to his Twitter handle at about 12 midnight last night to address the allegation.
