Princess Zina Glorie Nweze, a 12-year-old British-born Nigerian girl, designed an amazing cathedral from cereal and shoe boxes. Designing a cathedral was a part of Zina’s school project on history. The photos of the girl’s beautiful artwork went viral on the Internet after her mother, a popular jazz singer, had posted them on her.

In an interview with Chubmagazine, Zina said in January all students in her class were assigned a task to design a Saxon, Norman or Gothic cathedral within a two-week deadline. Upon returning home from school, she discussed it with the parents, and they rendered her a lot of support. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Zina is working on her project. Her father who is a professional architect helped Zina to get most materials she needed for the project, including roofing insulation and wood. Zina confessed that she and her father had been working on the cathedral for the whole evenings till 10 pm. She said: “I gathered so many material, chopped, chipped and sharpened the wood, painted the blue shoe box white, glued the paper windows and finally messed up the whole house. My hands were sticky for two days. My hair had paints on it. I couldn’t take out my braids because I had agreed with my mum that I would keep the braids for at least six weeks.” Zina’s beautiful cathedral rocked the Internet after her mother, Ijeoma Amazin Ogbodo Nweze, a popular jazz singer, had posted the photos of the artwork on her Facebook page.
The talented girl’s creation received a lot of positive comments and compliments. After the project had been completed, Zina said she felt really proud of herself, and grateful to her parents. That little success made her inspired to do more and dream big, and gave her the confidence to move on.
Nice work..
