Ize-Iyamu, Onaiwu, Edebiri and Iduriyekemwen
Ahead of the PDP governorship primary to pick its flag-bearer for the September 10 Edo State election, moves have begun by the party leadership to present a united party that will ensure the party regains its old glory in the state by winning the governorship it lost in 2008.
To this end, a top party stalwart informed Saturday Vanguard, all four governorship aspirants have been invited for an interactive session tomorrow, where the party will, among other issues, reiterate the need for the aspirants to accept whoever emerges winner and work together to support him in order to present a united force to defeat the candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC). The source added that the session will be for interaction, and not for the screening of the aspirants, as earlier speculated. According to the PDP stalwart, the four aspirants, Matthew Iduoriyekemwen, Osaro Onaiwu, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and Chief Solomon Edebiri are all expected to attend the session.
